It's been a long time since we got our teaser for Adam Warlock entering the MCU in the post credit scene for Guardians of the Galaxy volume 2, but it's time to talk about HIM again. Guardians of the Galaxy volume 3 is underway and fans are hoping Adam Warlock will still be making his MCU debut in the film. And according to some recent rumors, not only will he still be in the film, but the actor that will play the character could have already been cast.
According to a report from the Twitter account @collectaholic_ Will Poulter (The Revenant, We're the Millers, The Maze Runner) has been cast as Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy 3. And they state that not only has he been cast as Adam, but he has been cast for years now. Another report coming from thecosmiccircus.com claims they checked with personal sources about this report and they came back stating that there are rumors going around behind the scenes that support this claim.
If these reports are correct, Will Poulter will be playing HIM aka Adam Warlock in the MCU in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. This is certainly an interesting choice considering his young age. Adam Warlock is typically, in the comics, an older man. He even is in a relationship with Gamora. If this report is true, this could mean that Adam Warlock could be in the MCU for a very long time and not just for the one Guardians film. That could be a potential explanation for the young casting, they want an actor that can play and commit to the character for several years.
It certainly is exciting to think about Adam Warlocks MCU debut! Hopefully as Guardians of the Galaxy 3 gets more underway and developed, we will get more answers about the mighty Adam.
