Spider-Man No Way Home New Official Photos and Movie Details

With Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to theaters on December 17th, Tom Holland is opening up about his experience filming this third Spidey movie. Specifically, Tom Holland has recently mentioned his exciting experience filming with Alfred Molina, who will be reprising his role as Doc Ock, the eight-limbed villain from 2004's Spider-Man 2. According to Entertainment Weekly, Holland, who didn't start his Spidey role until 2016, couldn't help but geek out over the veteran Molina, calling him "one of my favorite people I've ever worked with." Holland said, "It was really fun to watch him see how technology has advanced.” "When he was making these films, the arms were puppets, and when we did it, they're all imaginary and CG. It was quite cool to see him relive it, but also relearn it." This plays a huge role in how this third movie will be a mixture of both past and present. Of course, Holland won’t reveal many details of the plot, but we saw from the movie’s trailer that there will be some potential crossovers. We will be getting some things from both Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man films and Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man films. Holland commented, “The first film, [director] Jon Watts and I were sort of flying by the seat of our pants." "This one, I think we both felt really confident, so we were able to relax. We actually had so much more fun on this one than we did on the previous two." With all these additions from the past movies, it has allowed Holland and Watts to get more creative than ever before. Holland teases that the fight scenes are "a lot more visceral," with "a lot more hand-to-hand combat." Something that fans are really looking forward to.

Entertainment Weekly also release two new photos for Spider-Man No Way Home.

The first one unfortunately has zero context. However, it does appear to be outside of the NY Sanctum Sanctorum, and Doctor Strange doesn't seem pleased. This could be because, as the first teaser trailer showed us, Peter Parker "tampers" with the Spell that Doctor Strange casts to make everyone forget that Peter Parker is Spiderr-Man.

The next photo seeminglyt akes place right after the events of Spider-Man Far From Home's post credit scene, as MJ (Zendaya) is wearing the exact same clothes from that scene. The post credits revealed that Spider-Man is Peter Park, and now it looks like this scene is right after the reveal and Spider-rMan will grab MJ and make a run from it to get away from the crowd of New York Civilians. Holland has also called this third movie a “conclusion” to this Spider-Man trilogy. "We were all treating [No Way Home] as the end of a franchise, let's say," he adds. "I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you'd be seeing a very different version. It would no longer be the Homecoming trilogy. We would give it some time and try to build something different and tonally change the films. Whether that happens or not, I don't know. But we were definitely treating [No Way Home] like it was coming to an end, and it felt like it." This has made Holland quite emotional, especially during his last days filming on set with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon (Ned). He commented, "We've been making these films for five years now," Holland explains. "We've had such an amazing relationship, the three of us. We've been with each other every step of the way. We've done every single film, every single press tour. So this one scene, [we didn't know] if this would be the last time [we were all working together.] [It] was heartbreaking but also really exciting because we're all moving into the next chapter of our careers. So sharing that moment with them was maybe the best day I've ever had on set. I don't think I've cried like that ever."

It's important to note that Tom Holland is saying that the Homecoming trilogy is coming to an end and not him playing Spider-Man is coming to an end. This is not the definite end of Tom Holland as Peter Parker. It is more of one chapter ending and another beginning for him. At least we hope so for now. It is sad to see this amazing trilogy come to an end, but fans are super stoked and ready to run to theaters on December 17th to see this grand finale! And I bet another Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy will follow!
