The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller has just been released this past past weekend. DC fans were going into it with mixed feelings and even others didn’t show up for the movie at all since Ezra was kept as the Flash despite all of the drama surrounding him. Whether it was for these reasons or others, the film has not done well at the box office. So this could mean that we might see the last of Ezra with this film. Even though The Flash director Andy Muschietti has somewhat lead others to believing he would come back to play the Flash in a sequel, this most likely won’t happen due to poor numbers at the box office. On the other hand, DC fans can’t get enough of Supergirl Sasha Calle. With the DCU resetting for the most part, fans wonder if Sasha will make the cut into the future DC slate. With James Gunns partial slate reveal back in January, he announced a Supergirl project called Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. This will be a movie based off of the Woman of Tomorrow comic series. Sasha in a recent interview with USA Today, let fans know she has had a meeting with Peter Safran about her future in DC. She also talked about how much she loved Supergirl, “I hope to continue playing Supergirl... I love her so deeply, and I feel so connected to her.” Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is expected to release sometime in 2027, with that being said we still are ways away from it being brought to the fans. Sasha gave a great performance playing Supergirl and loved doing it, so hopefully fans might see her in the DCU future after all.
